I believe so. Usually people receive pre-arrival letter before 2-3 months from PPR.

For me its around 4 months now since i received the pre-arrival letter!

If he indeed updated my case it wasn’t to help at all. My information was completely wrong and the dates were changed to 2018 when I applied this March. This is vengeful at best and truly disappointing. The tracker is unreliable because of the childish behaviour of the person who messed up other people’s cases

I had a concern too about this. Anyone can get into the update button and change other peoples info. I guess the administrators should work on preventing anyone from updating others info.

I agree with you on being positive but here is my opinion. Even though, IRCC works with %100 percent productivity during the Covid-19 outbreak, processing times would be effected due to travel restrictions.
If there is no plane, you can’t land. If people can’t land, backlog occurs. So simple as it is.

Again, let’s think that IRCC has no delays and they issue MRs like before. Many people could not perform their medical examination on time due to closure of medical facilities or governmental buildings in many countries. All IRCC updates that need to be handled by applicants such as getting criminal record paper to medical examinations are unfortunately backlogging now.

As long as this situation continues, the backlog will pile up.

My progress bar says 97%,April 5th, 2020 . I send the web form and got the answer time has changed to 23 months and my application is going to May 5th but doesn’t show yet the update on my file.

Yup. But i guess i will have to wait 16 more months since processing time is increased to 23 months.

Can i know if you received a medical request or you submitted MR without request? I have a similar timeline but haven't received MR request:
Application Received: January 18th 2019
AOR: April 2019
PCC request & Pre-arrival letter: March 2020

status bar shows 7 months remaining time!

Hi, I applied in Mar 14, 2019 and AOR Jun 4, 2019 n no news ..

How come u get MR so quick ..
