Does applying for any COVID - 19 Benefit like Support for Families - Ontario, EI or others affect the Current PGP 2019 Application in Process ???

Biometrics received on Jan 3rd and submitted the Biometrics after that no update i think my friend is on the same boat

I think the extension reason can be Covid 19 and also the fact that during these challenging time you'd like to have your mom be close to you and the family. My mom has been in Canada with a supervisa (initially for 2 years) and then has been extended several times (each time by 1 year) without any issue. You should be fine.

So, I'm just applying now and I realize two things as follows:

1. My mom's health insurance expires in July, should I get one for next year or can I just mention that I will get one after this one expires.
2. How much funds should I write in the section "Funds to support your stay". I am attaching my bank statement for that. Should it have a balance equal to what is in the "funds to support your stay " section.

I am planning to sponsor for parents PR in 2022. I need to show income for last three years so for 2019 I maintained the required income to sponsor both parents.

Now in 2020, I have temporarily lost my job due to Covid. I am planning to apply for CERB or EI but will that affect my application later? Because this will reflect on my Notice of Assessment and can it disqualify my application later? Suppose I take CERB now for 4 month and meanwhile try starting my own business (self-employed) and then have the total income for the year as per the requirement is that ok?

You should provide proof of a policy that will continue after July. It should be for a year although many policies refund any unused months minus an administration fee.
2. The funds that you and your mother should write and provide should be the funds you have available on statements.

I did submit IMM5768 together with the package. Anyone know if it helps resubmitting the form again ? Am not sure why would they ask again if they already have it ?

In my case, I was asked to submit IMM5768 along with IMM5669 (with hand signatures) in November 2019. So, technically I`ve already sent IMM5768 twice, and they still don`t seem to be happy with it, ;-). anyways, I am waiting for the app to get linked in MyCIC and see if they have a similar update there.
