Hello Andy @andy108 I got one update email back to the day after Medical Pass, but before Bio taken. That time I didn't pay attention to it nor checking the timeline difference, thought that it was an email confirming Bio is completed. So is this email is what they call "GU"? And if so, what does this email possibly mean? Thank you!

GU's doesnt happen with email notification.

I think almost everyone gets one GU around the time of medicals, dont look too much into it

I think every sector of Canada is affected by Covid and IRCC is no exception. No (or few) conformations have gone out for the past 2 weeks. I called a government office and was told my wait would be 2 1/2 hours!

@jake84 , it still seems as if some ppl dont fully understand what is going on worldwide and Canada in particular. I am on a work permit and my husband was sent home due to Covid. Even IF he gets EI he is still losing $350-400/week when we compare the benefit against his regular earnings. Electronic Stores like BestBuy are short of computers and as everyone is scrambling to Work from home- I'm assuming the IRCC agents are scrambling to adjust as well.
