Starting this thread for April 2020 INLAND Spousal Sponsorship (plus OWP)!

We have sent out our Application (Common-Law Sponsorship + OWP) today by UPS. It should get there on Monday.
My status in Canada expires April 10th, so I hope it gets received by then.

your status expires 10th supposedly docs will be recieved April 6 do you think 4 days is enough time for your status to get updated?

won't they ask for prove ? People get married and show marriage certificate

I have absolutely no idea. I'm hoping it is. I thought you're on an implied status as long as the application is received before your visa expires. Correct me if I'm wrong

We're sending our package tomorrow and trying to figure what way is best. I'm in no rush as my status expires in September, so what's best option ? Should I just use normal mail? I'm not sure how much more it costs by couriers

Why not applying for an extension? Can do it online and you'll feel safer

Hi! Welcome
It cost us $63 to send it by UPS today! Ouch! If I were you, I'd send it by XpressPost or Priority with Canada Post

Why not applying for an extension? Can do it online and you'll feel safer

I think I will. I just thought you need to do it at least 30 days before your status expires. And I only have days now...

I thought that too but I've read here in the forums that you can, I hope someone with more knowledge can clarify it

The implied status will be when they look at your profile. accepting your docs wont update your status
