Your visa wont expire definitely they will give you an extra time as they are giving for biometrics and medical submission or even for documents submission

Well medical will get expired by May 13/2020 so it’s gonna be a long process again

Once visa grated, there is no expiry of Medical.
Yes, only thing is, the time or window which they have given to you must enter or land in Canada before that date, that is important.
Since this restrictions imposed, it will also be waived.
The time they usually give 6 months from issuing date of Visa.

I sent my application on August 06 2019, which was received by CPC Sydney on August 09, 2019. They sent me AoR1 on October 18, 2019 and on that day by using UCI and Application Number, I have accessed on ECAS where they mentioned that We have received your Application on August 09, 2019. After completing Biometric and Medical, my file was moved to LVO on January 13, 2020 as apprised by CPC Sydney via Email. Since then no update on ECAS

Normal situation. Just have travel history with my wife. Not sure if that makes a difference.

The permanent residence side is "in process", and when i click on "in process", the new page is open and same 3 lines are there as on the sponsor side "Decision Made" as mentioned in my previous threads

what about your background check on gckey? Is it in process or didn’t start yet? And what about eligibility also?

Not to discourage you in any way but May seems too close and you will probably be asked for a re-medical soon. To my understanding, the one time entry visa you get once approved is valid till your medical or passport expires whichever falls first.

Others in the group can correct, if my understanding is wrong.

I won't call it. it's wrong, you probably right but I never heard that once case decided / Visa granted and it also doesn't make sense too when case decided then why they ask for go through another medical.
