Not yet. Received AOR Mar 20th

Did my medicals Feb 14 and received medical furtherance Mar 04, CIC wants me to do a repeat X-ray and also asked for an additional medical report from my doctor in regards to my Medical condition.

My questions are:
1. Have you seen cases of people with lupus on this platform and how their application went. I am really worried about whether this will lead to Medical inadmissibility
2. Is the application always put on hold until medical clears or do they proceed reviewing documents while they wait for the additional reports?

1. Each medical condition is different. lupus is an auto immune disorder, and based on your diagnosis, on your specific and individual condition, a determination on medical inadmissibility will be made. See https://bit.ly/2y2bldI

2. Medicals are done early in the application process, since if an applicant is medically inadmissible, then there is no point spending resources on other stages.

UPDATE

IRCC offices are working, but only with essential staff in office, and some from home. The GCMS notes are being released in small numbers each day.

However, as a courtesy, please refrain from sending emails for asking your VO, updates on your application, and all non essential queries. They can wait. Canada has declared a national emergency, and there are many important matters that have to be dealt with then you getting to know your VO, which is trivial and unessential.

Please do not flood IRCC emails or send webforms for insignificant things.

Please be considerate.
