Things are moving here as well. August 24th 2018 applicant
We received the AIP, a new request for medical exams and letter asking to resend IMM5669. It seems like the IMM5669 form was changed also from the version we originaly sent.
why a new request for medical?
On the convid-19 information page ( ircc ) it's said that they are still processing the file. But I don't know if all agent are working. I think it's goiing to add delay. March 8 2018 applicant... I think that it's never gonna end.
Hey
I received my pre landing email... Check your email box!
Good Luck!
Hello, Aug 2018 applicant, i received a notification saying that the eligibility passed on March7, while i did't see it said the montreal office will contact me.

also i understand the AOR comes first and then you can apply to CIC?

You don't really need a lawyer to apply unless you have a complex case; the guide and people on these forums are probably enough to help you. But if you've already decided to go with a lawyer, then sorry I have none to recommend.
AOR means acknowledgment of receipt. By definition it comes after IRCC receives your application. Read here:

Does anyone have any news?
No update from my medical exam on August 2019.

Hope you guys are all doing well considering the current situation.
We received the (I guess) pre-landing letter back in February and were waiting to hear from the Mtl office. Was told it could take up to 6 weeks (which would have brought us somewhere in April) but then lovely Covid happened. After the 6-week delay, we reached out through webform to follow up and were told that everything was cancelled and that IRCC would contact us eventually.
I saw on the 2019 Qc inland spousal sponsorship group that some of them have started receiving the CoPR by email inviting them to request the PR card online. So basically, they changed the in-person process to an email. So that's good, I think. However, we have yet to receive anything.... I reallt don't understand how to process their files, it's definitely not on a first-come-first-served basis.
Have any of you heard of anything?
The call centre has reopened, so I will probably be calling.
It's been more than 18 months, I'm no longer patient. I know some people have waited longer, but I'm still struggling.

I have almost similar case and processing time with you.
October 2018 applicant, received PR Application Approval letter and DM on 4th of Feb 2020
I still did not get any appointment or CoPR e mail. I called Call Center agent, she e mailed to Montreal IRCC on behalf of me, and they responsed that, once they will start having appointments by Call, they will contact me then. No time frame, no forecast, no response. It is totally weird, no quality standard or no body asks for responsibilities.
Anyway, I did fill webform as well as filling complaint form regarding Montreal IRCC. All offices across Canada is able to send PR emails, Montreal not. All across Canada inland spousal finalizes in 10 months, in Montreal 20.
I have a lot to write, but anyway, patience.
I received Landing Letter by today. Quebec Spousal sponsorship applicant 15th of October, PR Approval 4th of Feb 2020 and Landing Letter on 14th of May
Good Luck everyone
