Hi,

For all applicants who received AOR in 2019, and also get their pre-arrival email, is this a good idea to do the Medical upfront instead of waiting for MR.

Any thoughts.....

Hi, I was also thinking about it. Can anyone advise pls.
Hello,

Doing medical test upfront will not expedite the process of the application. When they request MR, you guys can do it and it won’t take more than a week to be uploaded and approved. On the other hand, doing MR when requested by the officer is better for the applicants because the visa validity will depend on the medical expiry or the passport expiry dates whichever comes first.

Yes that is correct. Thank you for the reply. Better wait for their request !

Hi all, we are also reaching the end of our journey.

In ECAS:
AOR September-2018
Med request: end of November-2019
Med received: mid December-2019
Request to pay RFRP and RCMP police clearance for me (complicated surname)
and I saw in ECAS Decision Made (this weekend).

We are just waiting the PPR or next step soon. Any ideas about latest timing for this? I expect to get some delays due to the COVID-19 situation.

Good luck to all!
