Do they respond if the case is still within the stipulated processing time? What has been your experience? I am at 50% on my timeline progress bar.

Just to keep you all updated - I have finally hired an immigration specialist who helped me a lot finishing and checking out my application.
I sent the application to Sydney yesterday - August 27th, should normally be received tomorrow (I am sending from Toronto, ON). Let's wait and see now, next months will be loooong...

I have a question regarding Income Tax Payment proof, is this document required to proof my financial condition or self-employ activities? I'm freelance translator and earn my money from this profession for the last 10 yrs and have the Purchase Order & Vendor Contract from all my clients. Would it be sufficient to show them the PO/Contracts rather than the Income Tax Payment Proof? All payment went to my bank account and online payment, so I can submit these records as well.

After decision made, I received passport request. It is been a week since I have submitted the passport. I am expecting it’s delivery by end of this week.

@vs587 would you mind sharing the list of documents that they had asked you to come to the interview with?

The list contain all the possible document in which Tax document was mandatory. In case applican’t is not paying income tax then person need to bring the justification from tax authority.

Second thing which they don’t ask in document but they ask you in interview is the Business Plan. In which you must show that you have done enough research and have realistic plan that leads to your self employment. Work out your expense list and show them that you have enough fund to execute your business Plan.

I spent entire month in just collecting it. And when I appeared in interview, Visa Officer didn’t even looked at any document. When they ask for an interview, they have SPECIFIC reason which they don’t reveal in document request list.

So, in case you are asked for an interview and you have doubt about anything, then be prepared for it.
