this is mentioned in ppr
Applicants residing in Pakistan or Afghanistan should submit the documents listed to our office in Islamabad (not to our London office). Please see the VFS Visa Application Centre (Pakistan) website for details on how to transmit your passports to the High Commission of Canada:
http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Pakistan/.
ur husband is an afghani national ,that's why pp should be submitted in pak
Yeah that’s what I was thinking but if they have to do it whwre the biometrics was done then wasn’t that sure about it
Also for biometrics they didn’t give any option so that’s why we did it in India thought the visa is easier there
The file moved to the LVO 2 months ago but AoR2 hasn't been received yet. It is beyond understanding what the LVO is doing. Very frustrating and disappointing

Any idea about London Visa Office?
Is this a red flag for interview or something critical.
My PA's application transferred to LVO on Mar 9, 2020

They have a valid reason as of corona virus now to delay the application process more , the wait is killing seriously
my file was moved to LVO on 28th Jan 2020 and got AOR2 on 13th Feb. Allhamdulilah.
Is this the standard time frame?
It’s not the same for everyone. I’m 23rd April 2019 applicant and my file was moved on 25th November and received aor2 on 28th November. I thought everything’s gonna happen quickly now and then i received pre-arrival on 28th of February and after that no update.
So basically this process is very unpredictable you never know when you get the next update.
What is pre-arrival means though ?
You guy's need to stop trusting this immigration system i have seen a lot of you talking about that 1 year time bar it's totally useless if someone get it done within 1year then consider yourself lucky it's 50/50 game.
Any bad experience?

How long is it reasonable to wait for a response from the LVO after AOR2? Mine has been there for 3 and a half months now
And is the corona thing also slowing down applications now?? It is taking over a year for many applicants as it is.

I have the same timeline as you

Yes I guess this will be another set back for all delayed applications
Btw very few applications fall in the one year bracket this is just false hope for the applicants I believe it’s almost 15 months to 24 month for the process to complete now also

Why because of the Coronavirus? Your estimate of 15 months at least is dead wrong based on proof of members who applied in May 2019 or earlier getting ppr recently. Don’t try to worry people if you don’t need to...
