I received AOR yesterday, but haven’t received for my children and wife yet.
I just wonder anyone had same situation.
ECas in process but none for them.
I sent application in same envelope for all 4 of us.

Hello, I have mailed my documents to CIC to obtain my canadian passport about two months ago. So far, I have not received any update. How long does it normally take for CIC to atleast acknowledge that they have received my mail. I am not even sure if they got my mail.

Hello, I have mailed my documents to CIC to obtain my canadian passport about two months ago. So far, I have not received any update. How long does it normally take for CIC to atleast acknowledge that they have received my mail. I am not even sure if they got my mail.

Do you know what day they received your package? You'd know if you couriered it and kept track of the tracking status. It looks like it typically takes about 2 months to get an acknowledgement email. So you'll probably hear something in the next couple of weeks. January applicants have slowly been getting their emails.

I have got a transit stamp (Temporary Entry Stamp) in my passport from China while I was traveling to my origin country. The set of stamps (total 3) has some words in English and some in Chinese. The main thing is both entry and exit stamps have the same date and it is not clear which one belongs to entry and vice versa. I entered China and left on the very same day. It was a few hours of stay at the airport before boarding my connecting flight.

I don't know if getting these two stamps translated will make any difference. But, for peace of mind, I want to get this done before my test invite.

I would be grateful if someone can share the details of a good and economic translator in and around Surrey, BC
