Study Permit Extension Delay (September 2019)

ya...but now in the expiry date it mentioned Aug 8, 2020.. so does I have to extend my study permit again?

Never heard about this before.

Mostly end dates of study permits are entire months. Like 30 or 31.
You can make sure the document you provided from your college for extension had completion date of course is 30 November.

Or

You can carefully check document status in the login portal, which shown a date valid upto. _____.......

Heyyy Jaspreet I also got graduated from college but my extension is in process.Do you think It’s difficult for me to get extension as I have applied before my study permit expired.

As per other users feedback, mostly officer demanding transcripts.if they demand from you, attached a letter to explain you need a valid status for apply my work permit. Otherwise its ok. I know one more user has same situation had graduated in December and now officer demanding a transcript. She did submit with explanation letter but don't get any updates yet.

ok thanks Well I have already submitted the explanation letter with my application.And I have also submitted one letter provided by my college.Its clearly written there that this student require study permit extension to maintain status prior to apply work permit

Applied on November 30, 2019. My study permit has already expired, do not know how long the process is going to take for me. It has already been 92 days since they have only started working on November 2nd applications yet.

Graduating in April and have a job offer already to start working two weeks after I graduate, worried sick because can not lose that opportunity. Need to have study permit before I could apply for PGWP. If you know what I mean.

my significant other is attending school and he just applied to extend his student permit
it's been a week and he hasn't received the biometrics instructions yet. According to the website, those instructions should have been received within 24 hours.

How long did it take to receive the biometrics instructions letter?

Expect up to a week, the applications are really pilling up. You will receive a link to select biometrics date and location and the earliest you will be able to get will be by the end of March and out of Greater Toronto Area. My friend told me this.

Ya no updates yet , but I called them on 27 Feb 2020 , to withdraw PGWP application that I applied on implied status( 5 Feb 2020) , but they talked to program specialist , and he told me there is no need to withdraw PGWP application because its under processing now ( seems like they are looking on my both applications side by side) and told me to wait for study permit extension decision.
