Yes, I did it for my mom. Now she go a two years extension but if she decides to leave Canada for any reason we will need to re apply for the supervisa.

Thanks for sharing that. Did you give any reasons for extension? I mean how does the fact that the parent's PGP application is also in process, affect the extension request?

Hello people. Submitted PGP application June 24th last year. Reached Ottawa office June 25th. No AOR letter or email yet. Couldn't check online (ECAS) since I don't have any reference number to use. Is this possible? Anyone on the same boat?

Hi, I am new in this forum. I am trying to sponsor my parents and submitted the application last year. I saw from online tool that the application is now “Decision Made” updated last Feb 22 prior to that it says application received. There are no other details in the online status on what we should do next. They have not asked for medical or biometrics yet, when should we except to receive such request.
Does anyone have similar case as me?

I am sorry but if it says DM on sponsorship side and App received on PA side ( a few weeks ago was in process) and never asked anything bio/SA/medical,.. and please if u linked ur app in mycic, check if it says no longer eligible to this pool,..it could be a negative signal. This happens when application got rejected.

June 12 applicant- medical passed Feb 25. Still waiting to sort out biometrics, they sent a request for my grandfather who is 80 so can't provide fingerprints.

Yes if at least he knows he is approved as sponsor. In this case it looks like this member has never received any communication and does not know about approved or not.

When was his birth date? Over 79 is exempted from BIO.

receiving PPR will not change anything in MyCIC, its normal.
