@Loren27 , thanks for that post. I was wondering why they didn't ask for my husbands prints since we moved here the same time. I did my rcmp prints the 12th so I'm waiting to see how long before it comes in the mail.

It should come next week I guess. Even I was worried when only my RCMP was requested. But seems it is pretty normal.

You can call the ircc and let them know about your situation.right now i cannot explain you im also waiting any update .

Hey, are you sure that his application got rejected due to "resident permit' option, as I have also mentioned the same option in my PCC.

This is where I found the info. I did message him personally and the opinion is that it really depends upon the VO and usually application would get cancelled within 30 days. So, I have just raised a cse mentioning the situation.

Hey, do you think they will only provide application progress information over a phone call or CSE web form will do as well?

Both will work just fine! Webform will take around 2 working days for solution. Call just around 30 mins!

To be very honest, I just received one mail for update on my profile and that was for Biometric Collection Letter and nothing else! I know its weird but that's how it is!

First you hear the automatic update and then you've an option to connect to an agent. The real update is provided by the agent!
