I received today trough My CIC biometrics letter for my father. My application is from June 13th, I'm from Quebec.

My question is: I'm still in process on ecas. I havent received yet the letter to start my process in Quebec. Is that correct?

Tomorrow your Sponsorship application Ecas status will update to Decision made. you will get SA letter within 3 - 5 days after DM.
You need to attached your SA letter with CSQ application.

My parents had their medical on Nov 8, 3 weeks later the request for my mom to see cardiologist came, which was done on Feb 5. The status “we did not receive the results of required med. exam” couple days ago changed to “ we have requested the medical exam”. I feel very frustrated now

Medical exam is the most frustrating part of this process. My mom received medical request in January, did it within a week of the request, few weeks later, additional tests were requested which was a 3 day process. Results will be available in 2 months and who knows what to expect next.

I did it in Canada for my Mom and the results take at least 2 months to reach the doctor from the laboratory as they need several weeks to prepare the sputum culture.

The result was updated in about 2 1/2 months.

Hi. My mom is in same situation. She did her initial medical end of January in Delhi. Then she received furtherance - to do sputum test which was initiated early Feb. Now we need to wait 2 months for results.

In your mom's case, when the results were processed, what exactly did it state in My CIC account? In my mom's case, it still says we have requested medical.

I was checking the LICO minimum requirements for last 3 years on this link: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1445&top=14

In 2017 based NOA my total income was $39,460 because I started working in canada from June 2017 but requirement stats it should be is $39, 813

For 2018, 2019 taxation yr my Net income is above the minimum threshold

Can i still apply when the program reopens? Hope someone can answer

You would need to meet minimum threshold.

If you are married and your spouse was working that year, they can be co signers and their income can be added.
