I tried to
Contact them in feb and feb 4 they replied me saying
" • The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the sponsored person (the applicant) meets the eligibility requirements.
o the assessment for the applicant is still in process at the Canadian visa office in London, United Kingdom.
• As per our current processing times, most applications in this category are processed in a timeframe of 12 months. Various factors can affect the time it takes to process an application. Rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient processing of the application. "

I am a little bit off here. why do you need to contact MP? my understanding is that SA completes once MP responds to CIC. after AOR2 what is the role of MP here?

Actually there is NO role of MP to influence/speed up the process. BuT what happens that there are human beings working on 1000 of files so there is a possibility of any error/un intentionally overlook of a file..

if you really need to know then MP can't help you in this context. Get GCMS notes but my suggestion, wait for a month

Probably its only the MP who can contact and get the details of the file if its getting delayed in process. And even if something happened wrong we can always contact MP,

Not really, MP has a significant role in sponsor eligibility determination. once file moves into applicant VO. the don't have any prerogative since applicant eligibility and admissibility needs to be determined.

I understand, Can you explain how the MP plays the role in SA? As far as I know the MP has NO role at all in any part of the PROCESS. The only thing the MP can do is to show care for the peoples of his constituency by getting the legal/exact status of the file by CIC/IRCC.

I don't mean to speed up or something but MP response when CIC inquire at a time of sponsor eligibility is the key.
yes same here......i have same timeline and alot of people got their PPR already...but at the same time i think LVO started working faster now so hopefully we all hear good news soon. Inshallah
