Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi all,

I was asked to send PCC and some other documents on "IRCC.CPCMParentsandGrandparents-Parentsetgrands-parentsCTDM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca" email. I sent a few emails today but didn't get any confirmation. Does anyone know if we should be getting any confirmation email or any other indication? How many days usually does it take to update the profile?

Hello Everyone,
Need suggestions here.
Within the application package on the schedule A Background (IMM5669) I have submitted my dad's personal history (also mentioned his travel history). My application received on June 10, 2019. After that, he has two additional travel history. According to the status of the application, should I contact the local visa office to update the travel history?

Please advise...

now that I received this letter, would you know, for my mom, along with PCC and IMM 5562, do I also need to submit

• her birth certificate (per country-specific requirements for India)
• CV

My statuses have now changed today, Feb 14, 2020 as follows:
Sponsorship App Starus -- Decision Made
PR App Status -- In Process as at Feb 13, 2020.

I received an email yesterday from IRCC with a PDF informing me that I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

The PDF then has a section regarding additional documentation. My question, is this section a template for everyone or is it different per application? One of the items mentioned is the Biometrics for which my parents have also received an official request to submit. For the other documents they have not received anything else asking them to submit

The list of required documents is
1-All pages of Passport/Travel Document
2-Biometrics
3-Police Certificate
4-Country Specific Requirements
5-Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562)
6-Details of Military Service - IMM 5546
7-CV/Resume

I also have a question regarding police certificates. My parents lived abroad from about 1976-1981 in Czechoslovakia and France. Are police certificates required from these countries?!!!

Yesterday's update on MyCIC must have been a technical glitch.

Hi, everyone~~today when i check ECAS, my parents permanent Residence Application Status has been change to "DECISION MADE". But when i click in, still the old, nothing change yet. In MYCIC the Current Status is "Application/ profile updated", but nothing change after i click in too..Also, i haven't receive any email regarding this change yet. Did anybody have the same situation before? thank you and happy holiday

Hi, I got the same status update on mycic yesterday. But my ECAS status did not change today. Is your Mycic still showing profile updated? Mine changed back to old status "Action required"

I just found out about myCIC. How does one go about linking an application?

I've tried a couple of times but it says it can't find the application.

I'm using the following
Category: PR
Sub-Category: Family Class (PGP)

Application details (I tried using both Application # + Family Name And Application # + UCI (Father's UCI)

Applicant's personal information: I provided my father's passport details since he is the main applicant

Other Application Information: I don't think this was mentioned in the application but anyways I provide the province/city where we live

Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application: 2 (My father + mother)

Am I doing something wrong?
