Not vegetables, they mentioned cattle so animals is the answer.

This was confusing really...Because it was 100times bigger than giant ant that was in the text. So, i picked smallest ant.

Its large sized ant bcoz its written that small are 100 times small than gaint and gaint means large sized i believe so.
