My dad has some medical issues. What happen if he couldn’t pass medical exam but my mum passes it. They are applied together.

Application will be refused.

The bar to not pass the medical is very high, I will advise to go with the process.

Both have to pass medical test. Otherwise your application will be.... how is his conditions??

Hi Tu, i guess there is no default timeline for a specific country. For a group of countries will be assigned a visa office. Timeline of a visa office will be more accurate.

hello friends.. My application received in Ottawa May 22nd. As you see most of May 22nd application has DM2 last week. But I am still waiting and not sure how much time it will take. But I want to bring my parents this April. They have multiple Entry Visa expiry in August 2020. But they renewed their passport last year.
My question is can they travel with this visitor visa or we need to apply for new vistor visa?

Just curious how do you know that ECAS updates at 8:00 AM EST everyday?

hello friends.. My application received in Ottawa May 22nd. As you see most of May 22nd application has DM2 last week. But I am still waiting and not sure how much time it will take. Yes they can still travel as that visa is valid. Make sure to carry both the old passport which has visa stamped and the new valid passport.

I've sent my mom's passport Jan 31st and it arrived on Feb 3rd. Today I've received myCIC update that Counterfoil was created on Feb 4th. And for the final decision section, it says:
February 4, 2020 Your application was approved. Check your messages below for
details.
Please update my entry #245. @robertp Thank you very much for maintaining the tracker. It's been so helpful!
In addition, does it mean they will return my mom's passport soon?

Checking daily since last few month and as per Applicant reported in tracker.

Ecas update ones a day 8:00 EST.
myCIC is real time update.

My mom has a house in China, and she is going to sell it this year. Does it mean she will need to pay some tax in Canada since she is landing this year? But she will need to pay transfer tax etc in China already. So she needs to pay double tax? And how could things of tax work for the pension she has in China?

Just sent webform and they will confirm. I submitted this monday and I got response yesterday that all documents are received and my file is IN Process and nothing is pending on my side

No She don't need to pay any tax this year. She can bring as much as she want. She just need to declare it while landing
