Hi All,

Is getting "Decision Made" for PA a guarantee for a positive outcome? Do people get Decision Made if they were getting denied for PR?

I was wondering what happens if CIC does not want to issue PR?

Please explain.

Hi,
My parents file was transferred to New Delhi visa office on NOV 15th, 2019.

still showing APPLICATION RECEIVED online.

I am really worried now, almost 3.5 months , not a single update from delhi office

Should I be worried?

Our file was transferred to NDVO on 29 Nov for background checks. Status is still "Application Received".

ignore «action is required» message, few applicant have same issue. it will update to submit soon.

CIC will decide Local VO to process PR application. assign Local VO or transfer file to Local VO is not depend on parents address.
you can not request to change Local VO. it is CIC internal process.

At what stage CIC starts processing background checks ? Is it before IME request ? I don't see any changes in MYCIC account under background check since beginning & have already passed medical.

Any 6.12 applicants haven't got any updates since application received?
My application received on 6.12 and got AOR 10.11.
I noticed that now 6.14 application status updated to in progress, but for some reason my application still no change.
Anyone else on the same boat here?

Same here! June 12 applicant still no updates since Oct 11 AOR.

BG check message status is not same for all applicant.
My case :
Background check : "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." since I linked my application ( June 2019) . Message never changed till date.
