Hi all, ECAS is still IP after the ghost update yesterday. However, I see a new line under PA side.

Before I had:

1. We received X's application for permanent residence on May 17, 2019.

Today, an additional line has been inserted (second line) indicating they STARTED processing yesterday (Jan 23, 2020).

1. We received X's application for permanent residence on May 17, 2019.
2. We started processing X's application on January 23, 2020.
3. We sent X a letter on October 7, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Same happened to me!! Jan 20th second line added and on Jan 23rd got DM for PA..

Finally got PPR email yesterday. Need to send email to CPP Ottawa office to get instructions of submitting passports to VFS outside Canada. So far no reply from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Will I get automatic acknowledgement email ? How many days will Ottawa reply me?

Hi when we receive passport request (PPR), what is the required minimum validity of the passport (6 months or 12 months)? My parents office is CPC-Mississauga and my mom's passport is expiring in March 2021.

You can renew passport in last year validity.

I haven't received any update since Oct 2019.

Is there anyone know the validity period of a police clearance certificate? I have a PCC in hand which was issued on May 8, 2019 at Dhaka, Bangladesh. I think i heard or read somewhere that PCC is only valid for six month. If i don't have to get a NEW PCC, i can submit all the requested document right the way.

If anyone know, please reply. you valuable input will be highly appreciated.

PCC valid for 6 months.you should apply online for PCC after the letter from IRCC.
