I applied for csq on December 9th they received it December 10th still no aor is this normal? I called them last week the guy was super nice said to call back in a week... but I mean should I really waste my time calling every week . Anyone sent it around the same date and got an aor from them?

I also sent mine at the same date. First time I called the guy was mean and said call in 3 months.

As long as you speak in French they tend to be nice lol anyhow I guess we have quite a good wait to go.

Call back in 3 months seems incompatible with
"MIFI and IRCC work together to ensure that your file is processed and visas are issued in a timely manner."

Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring someone in China, our timeline is like this so far:

Application received by Canada: end of April 2019
Accepted by Canada as Sponsor: Mid-June 2019
MIDI Received application: July 10th, 2019
Hong Kong Visa Office asked for biometrics and Medical in advance back in July
Letter that our application had arrived in VO:August 28th, 2019
Request for extra documentation and CSQ: September 9, 2019
Sent requested documents to VO early November, but hadn't received CSQ yet. Got an extension for CSQ deadline because of QC delay.
CSQ received mid-November and sent directly to VO through webform.
December 3rd, 2019: received pre-arrival e-mail

Since then, we've heard nothing at all...

I’ve called today they said they received the file and nothing is missing . They received it December 11th and that’s the date from witch they said to start calculating on their website. They said this week they will charge the credit card and send aor. Things are slowly moving

That's good to know actually, I was assuming the date referred to AOR. Glad to know everything is in order for you!

I called today.they said in the system the envelope was opened yesterday and that the first day to count is when they charged the credit card. My application was received by MIFI on dec 10. It’s confusing

It’s the date when they checked everything and charged the money and started processing ..

So you are saying that they reached the dec CSQ applications although it still says August on their website?

I got my AOR august 26th and still didin’t get the csq, so unfortunately no that is not the case for December applicants yet.
