Thank you very much for you reply.
There are 2 people in my application, my common-law partner and I. For now we are in the 18month. I have some friends we submitted in the same time and they all got the MedR at least.
As far as I know, for the late MR, like yours, will finish the journey very soon. I say in 3month you will receive the golden email.
For myself, I just hope everything will be Ok.

My file has moved to Local Visa Office since 2nd December 2019 and till date no news. Even on ECAS it has stucked on Application Received 2.
Very soon you will receive your Medical Request...believe me. I will rather advise you to send them a webform and try to find out. Though they will respond with the standard lines "you are within the processing time", they will look into the matter.
Btwn....from which country are u from?

I am Japanese but my common-law partner he is Chinese.
Do you mean GCMS? Did you send the webform and did it help?
My friends told me like my application may need more time because there are 2 people in 1 case and both of us have lived in the third country for more than 6month. I lived in China and my boyfriend he lived in Japan. The background check will be very complicated.

In my earlier reply i talked about my GGC account update, my mistake i didn`t check ECAS update.
so as per ECAS update, Application is in process since 16-Dec-2019 although AOR 16-April-2019.
I guess now remaining process will be super fast for all the GCC applicants and all the others as well !!!!

15 Nov 2017. My medical will expire this month, I'm stuck with background check, starting my 27 month in couple of days. I called about 5 times, send a request for information, but it's always the same answer : You have to wait!

I admire your patience friend.
There is not a day that I regret coming to work in Quebec as foreign worker.
If I was in any other province, I should have applied for Express Entry long back & I would have applied for citizenship by now.
Still waiting for PR in Quebec !

What is ECAS update? Is it when u check your application through GCkey?

ECAS is online system where you can check your current PR status after getting the AOR/Federal application number.
below is the link:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas&lang=en

GCKEY, is webpage where all the detailed communication will be available at the same time, all alerts messages can be seen if any from CIC.
This is also available once get the AOR as well.
