Hi everyone,

Today I got my second set of notes, in which its mentioned “case pending receipt of SSC - AB”, they have sent the province enquiry for my co-signer. It was requested on August 08.
I have already called Alberta works and went to one of their offices in Calgary but they don’t know where such enquiries from IRCC go and they were also saying that if I/co-signer never took it, they won’t have any record for us so they could not check anything for us.
Now I don’t know how do I get the province to send the response to IRCC, if I contact my MP, i think she will get the same response from IRCC that they are waiting response from Alberta.
Anyone from Alberta knows about such department?

My file is also delayed due to province check. In Ontario, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) handles these types of requests from IRCC. I contacted MCCSS and they confirmed that they responded back to IRCC already. Sadly, my file still hasn`t moved at IRCC.

Since you are in Alberta and don`t know which provincial department to contact, you may want to contact your local MPP (not MP) for assistance.

Our DM was on Friday last week. And Thursday last week we got Medical Survelliance undertaking form. Is your a similar situation? At what time you got PPR email?

It just states that you need to go for a medical within 30 days of landing as a permanent resident.

Has anyone submitted PP's to NDVO? I believe @guyfromtoronto had done that...anyone else?

Just got a notification that the PP's have been fw: to NDVO / Consulate from VFS at 5:30pm IST.

I received VFS notification today morning. PP in transit to NDVO

@ZOYAMAN13 how were you able to contact province to request them to send letter again to CIC? Not sure if i should call ontario works for that??

Its not for my application but for my wife application she is not on the tracker

-No timeline. But you should send a response within standard 30 days
-If there is a delay for PCC, you can send the other docs
-You should send the resume if they are alive. There are cases where they again ask for it

*CRITICAL SITUATION ALERT*
HELP REQUIRED

Hi All,

1st. NDVO asked for Canadian PCC on November 21, 2019. My parents got the fingerprints done on the same day. RCMP confirmed to have mailed the PCC on November 28, 2019. We never received it.

2nd. A month later on December 20, Parents did fingerprints for the 2nd time. RCMP confirmed that they mailed the PCC on January 2nd from Ottawa. We have not received this PCC yet. Since we are based in Ontario, the mail should not take this long ideally.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay?
Does this happen often? (People not receiving the PCC from RCMP?)

What can possibly be done to rectify this situation?

All those whose parents already landed
For OHIP, how do I show an address proof for the parent, she will have none of the documents mentioned on the OHIP website.
She has only COPR and Passport but none are accepted as address proof.

The situation in AB seems to be rather unique because of how they conduct the income support program. Most of the people stuck in SSC is from AB I think.

I sent PCC at a later date and want them check confirm they got it on the file.
