Thank you
The test was easy as long as you study the book. Don't rely on the online simulation tests only, you need to read the book.
I used this website to study, and for me this is the best one. http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/
Guys, I wanted to share my experience.
My citizenship oath ceremony was at 9:00 at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto.
I arrived at 8:50 to the smaller parking lot on Sheppard. It was completely full. I went to the bigger parking lot Markham. It was also very full, but there were still about 30-ish spots remaining. I parked and went inside at 8:57.
Inside there were 2 queues. One for people with pink letters and another for people with blue letters. I have no idea what the difference is, but my oath invitation letter was blue, so I queued there.
They didn't check for any documents. Asked to see my oath invitation letter only. I was asked to put my name, date and signature on the second page. I was asked to hand over my PR card. I was then seated for my oath. I found out that in a session they do 300 new citizenships. And they have three citizenship ceremonies today, each 2 hours long.
I took my oath around 9:45. Listened to a speech. Sang "O Canada". Listened to another speech. Signed a citizenship document. And it was done by 10:15. I
stayed behind to take photos with the judge, which took another 15 minutes. I was out of the parking at 10:30.
It was a journey, but today I am a Canadian and I am so pleased! Wishing you all a happy journey!
I got a letter from CIC back in November for additional documentation on my entry and exist records to and from the United States. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my travel history on the I-94 section of CBP's website but I was able to see my most recent entry date. I filed an FOIA request back in November and I still haven't heard anything back from the CBP.
Do you guys have any idea how to obtain my travel history records without having to wait too long?
Same.. I am also waiting for the test invite from Jan 2019 Applicant list.. I got my GCMS notes, and Security has been passed.. All other eligibility not started as of Dec 12..2019.
did they specifically ask only for United States Entry and Exit? You never visited any other country other than US in the past 4 years? I am still waiting for my test invite and not sure if they will raise this question for me too or not.
I applied on jan 11 last year and I just requested for my GCMS Notes. I havene't heard anything back since April 2019 when they wanted the Finger prints done.
I received my Oath Ceremony invite by email this morning. The ceremony is January 31 which is, oddly enough, exactly one year to the day from when my application was received. The ceremony will be in Ottawa.
