May I please be added to the 2019 December AOR WhatsApp group. AOR was 20th December 2019

I have worked in Ethiopia from 2009 to 2011 and now I am trying to get the PPC from Ethiopia. I am looking to delegate this task to one my colleague who is working at Adigrat. I got letter from CIC requesting the PCC from Ethiopia, one month after I have applied for PR (7th Dec 2019). Just want to know whether the Ethiopian officials are amicable and cooperate with us to get our document? I couriered the following documents for the process
-my finger prints taken from local police station in India
- Authorization letter
- photos
- proof of residence in Ethiopia (passport stamp, permit card and the relieving letter from my employer)
-Request letter from CIC.
Please let me know if any other documents required to be submitted. I am bit nervous as this became showstopper for my application to get processed.

I guess someone from Ethiopia would be the right person to comment on how easy is to deal with the Local Authorities on getting this doc. I hope they haven't given you tight timelines to follow? Did this unfold after your Medical Assessment/Biometrics or you yet to get an update on that?

I submitted my Application on 11th December, and got the AOR on 11th as well. Still waiting for the MEP. I see people here with later AOR dates getting the MEP and BIL updates. Anyone else with AOR 11th Dec and still waiting for status update?

My AOR was Dec 05 and I have yet to receive MEP. I got Biometric instructions on Dec 19th, but still no MEP. Hopefully any day now!

Still They haven't changed my status to "MEP " but have updated the status to " Bio metrics Completed ".

ITA : 27th November
Meds & PCC : 3rd December
AOR : 6th December.
BIL : 04th jan
BIL Completed : 6th Jan

It takes 3-6 weeks for the MEP. It will also depend on when your medical report was transmitted to IRCC by the panel physician.

medicals and biometrics were cleared. They have given 60 days time to submit the PCC

Oh, I don't understand the trend now. People with AOR on much later dates have recieved MEP and BIL.

Don't worry ! You'll get it before 10th Jan if the medical reports were transmitted to IRCC in time.

something happened to my case. we are here in Canada and provided biometric for our Work Permit. My application submitted after 3 dec and they sent us the biometric fee request to pay. I paid the fee. but it shows now our old date and biometric number before came here. is that good? do we have to contact them? it seems the officer accepted our previous biometric. can someone tell us is that good?

and our UCI changed to the old one. is that fine?

UCI- They don’t change your UCI, they stick to the previous one.

Biometrics: It is valid for 10 years. You should not do another one. They will likely refund you.

You have nothing to worry about. Also, your application may have passed documentation complete stage.
