Is there any one here called cic to ask about this point particularly?
I will appreciate anyone answer this question (100% sure) cause I really need to know at what point I am.
Thanks in advance

Processing starts the date they receive your complete package not from AOR date. This applies for permanent residence applications as well as Caq and work permit applications.

This is what was written on my ecas. But for all purposes of timeline and date calculations your time starts the day CIC receives your complete application package. Therefore I calculate that my federal application started on 18th jan 2017 and I will be completing 36 months then.

Are you inland applicant? From Canda you can call them +1 888-242-2100. I called 4-5 times, no problem calling. But don't expect any actions from the agents on the phone.
Hi, so did he tell you that the process time starts from the point of AOR?
Cause we are confused in this thread!!!
We already said that processing starts the day Federal received our application. Why are you still confused? Even the other threads will mention this fact!
I applied in Dec 2018 and AOR in april 2019. It shows 10 months pending. no yet medicals
Hi, I am on the same stage, with the same timeline, so hopefully we will have a message for medical in January

Hello,
I am on the stage of waiting for medical request. My average time is about 10 months. Now my question is, if I get pregnant during this time how would it affect my application? I am a single applicant and me and my partner are planing to marry after I receive my permanent residence card and to apply for sponsorship for him.
I applied in november 2018,got my AOR last february 2019 and until now still no update.

You would have to add up your child, and this would probably delay ur application for few months.

I got my AOR in April, and my ecas says that my application got into process on 16 Dec. It is a long journey and we have got to be patient. Good luck

Check your processing time bar in your IRCC account and wait accordingly....
