10th = 56%
12th = 41%
Undergrad marketing BBA= 47%
IELTS = 8 Band
SOP = Solid one with explanation on how it would help me expand my business back home and maybe persue an MBA in the near future by improving my grades.
I have 4.5 years of study gap but I have 4.5 years of relavent work experience and my own company. I'm looking to do a post diploma certificate in Digital Media management
Would my visa get accepted with my current profile? Should I be worried?
I have applied to a few public colleges but if I don't get in I would try for a private one. Will that affect my visa chances if I had to go to a private college ?

considering how horrible your grades are, i think the vo will regard your "solid sop" as pure bullshet.
and you have not mentioned why you need a post diploma cert when you already have your own company. i also do not know exactly what is that cert. and why not study online? are you going to abandon your company during this time?
The certificate is in Digital Media Management. My company is an online retail based company. I own a few private label which I would like to expand with the help of technical digital marketing skills( advanced SEO, SEM, CRM, etc). And no I will not be abandoning my company, I have a team that will take over and report to me daily. I would like to learn and execute my skills simultaneously.
My BBA degree focused primarily on management and mass communication subjects so I lack the technical knowledge that I would require at the moment.
And my UG grades are horrible because I had broken my arm in a car accident a week before my first semester exams which led to me missing my tests and getting 6 repeats. If it wasn't for that incident I would have had a CGPA of 8.2
Why would I not study it online you ask? That's because an online course from a Canadian college would not be considered valuable even in India. And I'm looking to improve my grades to try an get into a decent MBA here in India.
No I'm not. The only reason I'm doing it is because I would like to study a Digital Marketing management course in a country that is up to date with twenty first century techniques. India does not have any quality Digital management courses with up to date techniques and quality professors. And the international exposure would be great from my future mba plans in India.

Hi, I don't mean to correct you but a pointer on the choice and weight of words. In my opinion, it's better to say, few institutions that offer Digital Management program in India aren't accredited. Additionally, the professors in those institutions aren't qualified.

so what if its not considered valuable??? you are your own boss so why should this matter? if you want an mba in india why not just study for an mba directly instead of the cert? or mba in canada? dont leave questions hanging...
I can't do an MBA at the moment as my grades are really low and my UG is considered as a 3 year's degree and not 4. So I can't get into a good mba in India nor Canada. This one year post diploma certificate would help me strengthen my credentials to make it 4 years as I mentioned earlier and it would also help me run my business better. I'm paying thousands of dollars annually to SEM specialists to do what I believe I could do better if I just enrolled into a decent program. I can't simply this further. Please try to read the entire post before replying. Thanks

There are cheaper options elsewhere in Asia and Europe and the USA. And probably a better quality course than what you're suggesting. Your reason is not valid.

Don't kid yourself. You won't get a better job in India even if you get a pg certificate. You're earning bad salary now, you'll still be earning bad salary with the certificate. The program won't do any good for you in India.
You clearly want to use this to get a post grad work permit and then PR in Canada. How else could you justify the cost of spending that much on a useless certificate course that doesn't even boost your salary in India.
In order to justify the cost, you need to earn a Canadian level salary after you graduate. You won't find that anywhere in India. Saying that you will return home and strengthen your credentials is bogus and the visa officer knows it.
you are speaking in circular logic. did you even read what i said? you say that your grades are horrible and hence cant enter an mba in both india and canada.
but you say you can enter your post grad cert. which you also claimed to be for "improving" yourself. but i told you that the vo will probably view your application as bullshet because of your grades, despite your "solid sop". hence you should be worried, which was your original question.
it would be better if YOU actually read carefully before arguing here

Once again you have failed to read the post thoroughly. Or are you dyslexic? I said I wanted to pursue a post diploma certificate and not a post-graduate certificate. There is a huge difference . A post-graduate certificate is equal to a masters or a mba , but a post diploma certificate is considered to be a graduate certificate and not is not equal to a post-graduate degree/ certificate. Please learn to read.

Why does it seem like you have some suppressed emotions that forces you to behave like such an uncivilized and unpleasant human being? Can you please go somewhere else and stop trolling my thread with your dyslexic bullshit?

My company makes CAD8000 net profit everything month. I make more than you for sure. I have my tax reciepts to prove it. I'm not looking to work for anyone . I'm just looking to take over the the online marketing bit for my company as we are paying to much to adfirms at the moment who don't even do a half decent job. This way I can improve my own grades and be an asset to my company at the same time.
8000 net profit per month? Hahahaha that's ridiculously little. You will have a hard time convincing the visa officer that your Canadian education justifies taking over a company with that little worth.

My company makes monthly sales of over CAD15000 . That's more than you make for sure. I have my bank statements to prove it. That is how I can justify why I'm paying so much for this course. And do you think I would abandon my company for measly CAD4000 paying Canadian job? Think again
