Is there a way to check if they have received the email ? I also submitted the case specific enquiry today(19-Dec-2019) with documents ?

How did you attach multiple documents? When I click "View submitted application or upload document" I can only attach single file for each. I need to send Aadhar card, voter id card for both my mom & dad. Please advice

I have a question regarding Medical Examinations. My parents received the request on the 19th of December, yet the medical office does not have any openings until 22nd of January. Has anyone asked for extension on Medical examinations? Who did you call? My case processing centre is Mississauga

You need to submit web form. I did that for my dad's second medical exam, I asked for extension and they approved it.

Dad lived there till 33yrs and mom till 17. Yes they both have lived in India ever since they moved.

This is not correct, if someone has been in Canada on Work Permit and has become Permanent resident and meet the Income requirements for the last three years can sponsor their Parents for eg. John Doe has been in Canada since Dec 2015 on work permit and has recently become a Permanent Resident but has been working in Canada for the last 3 years and making more than required income he is able to sponsor his parents. @Maratab ali

Is your LVO >> NDVO? And, did you receive any email notification?

Yes, my visa office is NDVO. I got this information in my SA letter that my file has been transferred to NDVO, Al though my mom is in Canada for more than 2 years. there was no email confirmation that they have started reviewing my additional documents. it was just a line item on the status in my CIC account.

Did you send affidavits for missing DOB certificates or just the above mentioned docs?

If you are asked for a Sri Lankan police certificate, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Sri Lanka because certificates are only available to people who have legal status.”
