I have no info whether the decision is positive or negative, I only see ecas as DM, I or my dad havnt received any email till now

Some people on the forum have just sent school certificates, voter id or aadhar with an explanation letter. Isn't that enough? I'm also in the same situation, no birth certificates of parents and both my parents birth dates are pre-partition Punjab.

This is something i found online, hope this helps:

Born outside Canada to a Canadian parent and resides in or outside Canada

• For persons born outside Canada to a Canadian parent, the primary document used to establish the date of birth record is the applicant’s foreign birth certificate.
• If the applicant is unable to provide a foreign birth certificate, the date of birth indicated on their foreign passport or travel document will be used to establish the date of birth.
• In rare instances when an applicant is unable to provide a foreign birth certificate, passport or other travel document, another authoritative national or federal document issued by the country of residence may be used to establish the date of birth.

I have a question, my mom is visiting me in Canad next week,
The ECAS says decision made, our offc is Mississauga , my dad (Principal applicant) will remain in India, if we get a positive decision, how will we send passports for PPR? Can my dad send it to Delhi and Mom to Mississauga?

Any help on this guys?

Hello,
My parent's got their medical request on 3rd Oct, they passed the medical exam on 4th Nov. I got a request letter from CIC on 13th Dec. It only asked the Biometrics for my mom (my dad is the principal applicant). Also for my dad they asked to submit "Government Service Details Form", where can I find this form? They also asked my Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, I am a Canadian Citizen and I don't have all these, should I just inform CIC about it? I need to submit all the documents by 12th Jan, if I ask for 30 more days extension will that be ok?
Someone please suggest.

Hi Aradhana,
I am sure that they can't ask anything regarding your side as you are Canadian Citizen. They usually request these IDs for principal applicant as well as dependent. I have never heard about Government Service Detail Form may be by this they mean CV as most of us were requested a CV from principal applicant as well as dependent.

Yours is unique situation, call IRCC to check with them.

If they were never in a military service, you have make a similar word version for IMM 5546

My understanding is - no they can't. There file is processed as a single file and the PPR need to issued at the same time.

In similar situation as you. Did you have just the generic email request or any additional documents too like government service or relationship proof?
