i have been asking this for a while. It seems like there is no answer. lol.
Earlier Medical was the last thing for to get the PPR but with the new Immigration policy it was a Biometric system which helps to passed the security check and background check faster and this biometric instruction first to make the process easier
2017's and 2018's applicant's now getting the Biometric request because earlier it did not exist now after they got the clearance in there cases the last thing they have asked is biometric however Minister has been changed few weeks ago but I don't think so there would be any change in the policy

so you and I both received Pre-Arrival Letter on Nov 26 and waiting for PPR. where is your nationality ? because I am Afghan, it takes longer; my background check started July 2019 and it is done by partner agencies in Canada NOT the London office - checks usually takes 6-12 months from the date initiated. I hope we receive a response before the new year
Can you please share your timeline? Thanks.
Dear members need your advice, is it possible that background checks start before the issuance of pre arrival letter.
Hello Admin,
Could you please assist me, that can I apply for a super visa and immigration both together for my father in law and mother in law?

Hy mate
I am June 2018 applicant . After 17 months November 2019 I had my interview to determine the eligibility .
The interview was okay I answered all the questions but officer didn't give any hint and told me to wait for email from visa office.
Now after 2 weeks my gckey status is changed to " you completed the interview " and background checks " not applicable
My medical is about to expire in 2 weeks and they never asked me to give my biometrics.
Anybody have any idea about this my status plz let me know

Not possible Background check is the last step of your application and we can't modify the system

December 2018 applicant Start checking background in March 2019 in Sydney by gckey We are processing your background check. After transferring the file to London in August 2019, specifically in October 2019, the situation has changed. We are processing your background checks to your request in progress. We will send you a message when your background scan starts. In November 2019 the situation in gckey returned to we are processing your background check. More than six months ago, and I think they are doing a background check. I feel frustrated . I received a pre-arrival letter several days ago

Sick and tired of their random processing. I wish we could sue them for torture and slow process.
There is no option of suing. My wife's application has been in process since May 2018 with no end in sight. There is no one in the government that will take your side. The only response you get is that the application is in processing. All you can do is pray and nothing else
Alhamdulillah....
