Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi All,

Quick question: on IMM 5768 - Fin Eval form; I am a bit confused about whether to mention number of persons I have co-signed for in the 2019 sponsorship and number of persons my husband has signed for as a sponsor ... only because the questions specifically mentions the term 'previous'. I am not sure since both me and my husband have applied to sponsor our respective parents. Due to outdated versions on some forms I have been asked to fill them again and mail CPC back.

My husbands sponsorship file has received AOR.

Any guidance / response will be highly appreciated.

Does anybody has an experience of landing through making an appointment in the office by sending and email to

It seems CIC started this from last year as pilot and doing it now for all types of PRs

Visitor/Super Visa Bio is not acceptable for the PR applications. If they asked already, you have to provide one.

Hi Guys, my mother recently went for her medical exam in Inida and reported that she has dormant Hepatitis B. IRCC has not now requested for a furtherance (found this out by giving them a call, no update on email or physical letter yet, it might turn up in couple of weeks maybe).

My question is if anyone else went through a similar situation and how much time it took for the furtherance letter to arrive (based on this we need to get additional tests done I guess).

I know people with the same issue. They are waiting for additional testing request as well. Please tag me once your process gets moving so I can notify them as they are worried. On the positive note though, they said that Hepatitis is not a reason for refusal but the application might get delayed. Good luck

No, the app was not refused, but I am preparing for an appeal if it does and trying to brainstorm the issue with other individuals on this thread to see if they have gone through the same issue.

Tell me this though, what does it take to become a "champion member" of this thread?

I did read it in the previous posts that sponsor DM letters may be sent in batches, do we know tentative / average days from DM on ECAS to actual receipt of notice of decision.
I got Sponsor DM on 11 Dec and have not received any letters Yet.
PA is still In process No Bio or any other request so far
I have been following this forum for a while but am not listed in the tracker
feedback are greatly appreciated

  WSB issue was not discussed in this forum yet. EI issue was discussed frequently and any EI due to unemployment will not be counted towards income. There are IRCC guideline available regarding this. WSB may be considered under the same category, I don't know.

Hey guys my parents file will be going to ndvo. Does any of you know how long are they taking to send meds and pcc request and ppr? Sorry not sure about the stage 2 process and have been so busy with the province getting them to send clearance letter

How do you know the file is going to NDVO.
It is super slow in comparison to CPC-M but few got PPR for PGP 2019.
@Smileforu and myself are waiting more than three months to get IME request.

If you don't get a BIO request within 2-3 days of DM, there is great possibility your file is not processing at CPC M.

Thank You for the swift response, my parents current address is within Canada, however they came here as visitor prior to the Biometrics rules were applicable for their home country.
Still hoping it would be CPC - Mississauga not NDVO

Need a sincere help from Admins or people who got there Passport requests.

1. We have sent resume, travel history, India PCC, passport pages etc in September
2. on Nov 12 we got a letter to complete RCMP as my father is in Canada for more than 6 months, completed the same day.

Its been a month and I guess next steps are passport request. NO CLUE - NO MOVEMENT

Does any one know after RCMP, have they asked for any other document? What is the trend to get the passport request?

Can you see your In Process date in the ecas?
Normally your SA goes to DM, the next day you get bio request. Check ecas tomorrow and Monday.
Do you mind to delete post no. 31609.
