Can I work while I am waiting to receive my post-graduation work permit?
You can work full-time while waiting for a decision on your post-graduation work permit application if, at the time you submitted your application, you:

• had a valid study permit,
• had completed your program of study,
• were eligible to work off-campuswithout a permit, and
• did not work off-campus more than 20 hours a week during academic sessions.

If you apply outside Canada you also get a TRV which is what the passport is for. Are you checking on myCIC and sure length is not there?

Yeah, I did. I'll just call the visa center for my location on Monday. Thanks for the info about the TRV did know that

Guys please help!
My friend has got her PGWP on 7th december( had applied on 2nd September), but she only got it for 1 year as she had forgotten to upload her 1st course transcript.
When she called CIC, they have asked her to re-submit the application.

My question is:-
1) Does she now has to apply offline only.?(Processing time is too long)
2) Is there any other way, where she can get this thing solved sooner?
3) Are there chances of any other problem, that she needs to take care of?

Your help will be much appreciated.

if study permit is still valid you can try for flagpoling or else same procedure

This is so strange, I haven't gotten it either. Don't lose hope, 6 weeks will be up by the 2/3rd week of December and it will surely come this time. CIC said they reprint would be delivered in 4 days.

Finally, I get it in my mailbox (at the bottom of the advertising paper). Have you got it? You can try to check the mailbox carefully. Maybe it's there.

Same thing happened to a couple of people here on this thread, and they got it same day or next day. Can you please tell us when did you apply and did you get a notification for profile updated ?

Applied on Sept 4th. I got a request letter last Thursday. I uploaded the document they requested the same day. Now the status goes back submitted.
