Hi unfortunately i missed my oath ceremony. I have asked for another date on web form but i got no acknowledgement of web query. Is that normal and when could i be assignwd another date for oath ceremony?

They only get back to you with the date for another oath ceremony.

they asked us to sign 'Prohibition under the citizenship Act' form for myself and my kid.
My kid is just 5 years old, I don't think he can sign the form. So, do I need to sign this form on behalf of my kid?

Someone please advise.

Yes you have yo sign on behalf of your kid and they will tell you.."dont write the kids name" just sign it like how you would regularly sign any document.

48 hours but it all depends on when it shows complete on ECAS. As long as it says complete on ECAS you can go ahead and apply for passport.

I applied for citizenship in 01 Feb 2018 but unfortunately due to 2 missing trips to USA by road my application was returned.
I again applied in Nov 9 2018.
My application was received on 16 Nov 2018.

3. In process 8 Feb 2018.
Does some body have any idea weather Mississauga office started calling november applicants.

i would be submitting my application in May 2020, i do US travel frequently. Can you please let me know why your Feb 2018 application is returned. As per other posts in this forum looks like they will verify travel history during interview, but you said 'due to 2 missing trips' , can you please provide more details.

I was filling the citizenship application.

In form question #13 is asking for other citizenship status.

What would be the date obtained of citizenship of my origin country (where I was born)?

Date of birth or something else?
