It's a standard response. Wish I had a more encouraging response but from what I have gathered the Sydney office is infamous for delays in processing time so it's nothing new. We are all stuck in the same boat. Your AOR is the same as mine (14th May) and I have given them a call twice as well in the past month with a similar update "Eligibility under review, criminality passed or valid, security not started." So we wait. And wait.
Finally received PPR!!!!!! Here is my timeline from AOR to PPR. Good luck everyone. Hold on tight. It is coming!
AOR 1st June 2019
Medicals passed July 11, 2019
Biometrics completed July 16, 2019
RPRF Request November 15,2019 and submitted on the same day
GU on November 24, 2019
ADR for new passport on November 26, 2019
New Passport submitted on November 28, 2019
PPR <3 on December 06, 2019
Thank you so much everyone for all your updates and insights. It has been very informative and helpful!!!

I wud be glad even if it comes in Jan thats 8th month for me.But my agent asks me to be prepared for 12 months lol....which is scary and impossible...I wud take travel visa and personally go and meet Sydney ppl and give them a jerk to wake them up
it was Ottawa. And yes, the reason to submit the new passport was because the old was expiring in less than 6 months since the ADR request. I think you may get an ADR too

This email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Centre requesting the status of your application.

Thank you.

I called them yesterday and call them a couple of weeks earlier and in between raised a couple of web forms. The email doesn't really say much but maybe calling them at least made them take notice of the application as this is a response directly from the VO. At this point I guess it counts as a small win.

I received the same reply from November 12 at CIO Sydney and nothing updates on my application till today (almost a month)
I think it is just a generic reply from CIO?
