Hey, sending mails or raising webforms for ndvo is a waste of time. I have done it so often but they never reply. Use the webform link of IRCC Canada office. I raised it twice (after andmy 6month timeline passed) and both times got reply after one week. First time the agent didn't mention much about the status but just told that my file is at ndvo. The second time the agent explicitly explained the status. So it depends from agent to agent how much details they can provide.but one thing is for sure that sending queries to ndvo is redundant

I called IRCC and was told I passed eligibility on the 19th of November. I was also told background check (security) was being carried out. I have to idea how long that could take; it could be 1 day, it could be a year, I just hope passport request doesn't interfere with my travel plans (not to Canada) early next year.
Hello All,
I have a question regarding COPR. We just got another ghost update. Now the background has changed to ‘We are checking your background”. We are travelling to Pakistan mid of next month for holidays. If we get the ppr, do we have to send our passports straight off or is there any time frame within which you can send passport for the visa to be stamped?. We will be in back uk around first week of January. We have also applied on our British passport.
Many thanks
This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. The admissibility review is currently in process; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
At this time our records indicate that you have not paid the required Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if applicable.
To pay your RPRF, please follow the below instructions:
Go to our Online Payment webpage Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee” Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490 Click “Submit” Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa,
American Express or Mastercard.
Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. You must upload a copy of your receipt to your MyCIC account.
The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.
Your response to the above requests is required within 7 days.
