i guess they have stuffs to verify very locally.

yeah I was told by a friend that they get the file and start processing it from out there. Is that true? Like security checks and all? Biometrics and medical have been done.
How much longer would you say the process is roughly? Long way to go?

well i think when you are sent to VO really fast and you are not from a Visa exempt country it's usually not good news... but all cases are different as now most of BGC are done from Sydney.

when I first started the process I was told by cic (I called them to ask questions) that they (in sydney) would be doing my checks, and then once I’m accepted they then send the file to his home country and they there have the last say in if he is getting a visa,
The man I spoke to this morning has told me that I am accepted, everything on my part was done and I’m good to sponsor my husband and they (the canadian embay in Lebanon) will now process the rest

Yes sponsor approval is usually fast....

but PA ... is another story.

It's where they do the assessment of the principal applicant (most of times locally at VO), and this could be months..

Na it's the procedure... is fine for the VO's part , no one pass without it , all PA need to go through this process. The whole process itself is on an average of 12 months so. Some special cases pass before that , it's true but most cases are done by that timeline.. or close to that one. It just means that the VO locally will do ALL the BGC of the PA and not Sydney probably.

Now majority of BGC's are done inland from Sydney NS and then ppl are sent to VO for the last part of Eligibility.

Yw, they say 12 months approximatively, so yup is a long one, a patience game.

I got my pfl Last Tuesday and i submitted my response yesterday. And today got DM and pre arrival Alhmdulillah

Today I got pre arrivals letter as well
