CONGRATULATIONS!!

If you are comfortable with this, could you share some of your file's complications?

Thanks
multiple marriages
children from previous marriage, custody issues muslim and a child with ADHD

got csq February 2017
PPR November 20,2019

but i really noticed it depends on the queue and ur luck how many applications are pending before ur application because we sent pr application in april 2017 (there was some returned documents and application had to be refilled) they received the application in july 2017 they sent us AOR in october 2017 they started processing it in march 2018 medical request in april 2018 prearrival document in june 2018.

medical was passed within few days of submitting it, eligibility meet and security check took the hole time.

I wish this is helpful and inspiring

Did you receive MR? How about your SC or BGC are they done? The 23 months is just average, some applicants got their PPRs as early as 12th month.
my time line is the following:

- Application received May 2019
- AOR received July 2019
- Biometrics done August 2019
- Medical request - ??????

hello,
I used to come to this website a lot and read cases to give some push to my self during desperate wait so I thought I should come today and write my case in order to support who ever needs support during his or her wait

after our first application in May 2012 FINALY we had received the golden email for passport request in November 20,2019
so please never lose the hope .
my case was a bit complicated.
I hope every one will be rewarded after there long wait .
I know very well how frustrating it is but plz never lose the hope and be patient.
Congrats. Wish you the best.

i came across your post and i could not understand what yo mean hen you had applied as single applicant with kids due to points shortage !!!

i am getting married in two months, while processing federal and i am not sure now if i should do so ! would you please explain more about your situation ?

If you've applied under Quebec Skilled Workers program, unfortunately, you need a new CSQ document from MIDI, that needs to cover both you and your spouse.

Currently, as they proclaim, CSQ process takes at most 6 months through the renewed online Arrima system. (Personally, I would not trust them.)
So; if you marry and apply for a new CSQ document, you should consider losing at least 6 months.

For points re-calculation, I do not have certain knowledge, but most probably marriage will require new calculation and this may cause a reduction in your previous score. I suggest you investigate this matter deeply before re-applying for CSQ.

Hi, sorry I misread your timeline, mine is similar but they only requested for medicals oct 2019 for me. Timeline below. I haven’t received PPR yet
Since my application started in april 2018, i guess i should receive PPR before 23 months which is before March 2020 right?

Do you know how long took your SC ? I'm stuck in this particular section since August. I don't know what to expect anymore.

Can someone please help me out.
I am a temporary worker in Montreal. I recieved my CSQ in August 2018, applied PR application in november of 2018 and the processing time being shown is 23 months (OCT 2020).

However, they recently called my employer and asked some details which is worrying me. Do they usually do that? Also when should I expect a call for medical? Anyone with a similar case and time frame?
Any advice and help will be appreciated!

Hi, Im also a temporary worker in Montreal having applied for PR April 2018. Yes, I think calling your employer is a normal part of the background check. I don’t know if they do it for 100% of people or only a random portion of applicants, but have seen it for other people here. Nothing to worry about. For me, I received the message for medical when my application time left was 5 months. For if it’s the same for you it would be in may 2020. Continue being patient, it’ll pay off! My timeline is in my signature if you’re curious. Cheers !

Thank you so much! Another concern of mine is that they asked my employer "Is your employee on the same visa?" What is this supposed to mean? Am i on the same work permit or dod they mean to ask if im still working with that employer
