Pre arrival and biometric june 2019
From then i am waiting they are no updating
They say your application is taking us longer than usual
I have sent lots of webform to lvo they are saying that we are trying to process it expedite
May take 6 to 12 months

I am April 2018, stuck in background checks after pre arrival in June.... got same answer it may take up2 6 to 12 months

This is stupid man. No sequence to processing whatsoever because every case is different.
London had it November 1st, so many got processed after it, and I haven’t heard back.
It’s faster than before for sure but God knows what they upto. I think they will send me Additional Documents request. Anxiety and depression kicking in.

London VO will tell you where exactly to send passport. It will be in Pakistan through VFS if im not wrong.

I am October 2018 applicant, got a prearrival letter and PCC on November 1,2019.

My bgc was showing as WE ARE PROCESSING BGC. WILL SEND YOU A MESSAGE IF WE NEED MORE INFORMATION.
Once I received the prearrival letter it changed to YOUR APPLICATION IS IN PROGRESS. WE WILL SEND YOU WHEN WE START YOUR BGC.

What do these changes mean for bgc.

11th April: Medical request letter
23rd April: Background check completed
1st May: Medical passed

18th Oct: File received at LVO (AOR2)
1st Nov: Eligibility review completed
1st Nov: Pre-arrival letter received
6th Nov: Decision made (ECAS)
8th Nov: Passport Request (PPR) letter received
12th Nov: Passport sent
15th Nov : Passport received with visa

Additional info: I am on PR living in GTA and applied myself to sponsor my wife from Pakistan. No additional documents requested nor any interview.

Yes, i worked 4 years in Jordan but did submitted PCC from there too. and in july 2019 they asked again for pakistani PCC, schedule A n remedial. I thought we’ ll c PPR or dm soon but nothing.
