Hi, congratulations. quick question >> Did you PA ecas status change from In Process to Application Received when the application was transferred NDVO? If yes, how many days did it take to get back In Process?
Thank you,
Hi,
PA ecas status was changed to Application Received 2 week after Application was transferred to NDVO and its still in Application Received state.
@robertp
Congrats!!!!! Does it show in ECAS as well or only in CIC? I am asking because my account is not linked so I can only see ECAS
Thanks .
It does not show on ECAS . Only update on ECAS is when Medical request is recieved.
CIC is more current regarding the status of documents .

No you don't, unless they request you RCMP fingerprints.

In some previous cases, they have asked for RCMP fingerprints, don't know what the criteria is.
If you want to be on safe side, it is just spending $100 extra and get it done. If I would be you, I will do it. Rather than being in trouble later, you can get it now and keep a copy handy.
Hi, all,
I need some help.
My parents just finished their ME on Nov 11, 2019 and the panel physician found some calcification on my Dad's X-ray. It was an old one in the lung and my dad had that since his first medical exam at work in Year 198x and he has been fairly healthy since then. The panel physician asked him for future test and he just finished it today. It seems that it will take 8 weeks for them to get the result. Is it a normal process? I am a bit worried right now.
There has been no update on MyCIC. The medical exam section still shows "We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details." and there is no future instruction on the upcoming test. Is the instruction sent to the panel physician directly?
Have anyone met the same issue? How long is it going to delay the process? Can my dad come here for Christmas with that issue outstanding? He already has a 10-year TRV on hand.
Another question, it seems like CIC-Mississauga is requesting PCC by email along with those country-specific documents. Do I need to mail the original to CIC as well or just wait until they ask for the original?
Thanks a lot for all your input.
I dont think you need to worry at this stage . I encountered similar situation if not exact : See below
Oct 22 - My Parents completed their Medical .
Oct 31st - Got an email from CIC on my parents email that further medical information/test is required for mu mother's existing but stable heart condition.
Nov 04 - Parents visited and Doctor wrote a letter that everything is fine no need of further tests and sent it to CIC directly .
Nov 12 - Got a phone call from Doctor's office that CIC contacted them again to get historical reports . My Mother visited and historical reports were sent by Doctor to CIC .
Til Nov 13 The medical exam section showed "We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details." There was no message on CIC . Only email was received .
Nov 14 - Status changed to Medical Passed
DM2 Nov.14th
Oct.12 provided additional documents ( Hukou + police certificate)
Nov.1st ECAS shows “we started to processing your case”
Nov.12th gc key shows “we are reviewing additional documents you provided”
