My 9 year old daughter is a US citizen. We applied for PR in 2018 and our application was selected. We got our PR cards too. But did not get card for my daughter. I have the PR card and so does my wife. We currently reside in US. We did flagpolling . My daughter also did it with us. But still she didn't get. Is it ok? If not, please let me know who can i reach out to in IRCC who could help... Thanks
I assume your daughter was included in the PR application. Did she receive a COPR also? Does she have a signed COPR showing her PR status from when she landed? She does not need a PR card to travel, but she will need to be included in your original application.
Yes. She was included. She was included in the entire process of applying for Permanent residency.. She did receive COPR . She does have a signed COPR which was done at the border when we did flagpolling..
Is this a miss by IRCC or is it normal for US born minors? Pls advise..

Not normal. Everyone gets a PR card. There was likely a problem with her pictures or something like that. Contact IRCC.
Odd.I if that is a so then what is surpurising is that IRCC did not send anything to tell us about it.. Any number to reach IRCC ?? Or Any number in the US.
Can we travel to Canada with her while this is being sorted out??

Send a Webform.
Yes, she can travel to Canada using her US passport.
Link/add her application for PR card to your MyCIC account. See the status of the application and send an inquiry.
she has always been a part of the original application. She got the COPR too along with us. Just that we ( myself n wife) got the physical PR card but my child did not get the card. Reached out to IRCC through webform but haven't got a reply from them. Its been a week.. Their customer care number clearly says they do not discuss immigration information... Its crazy. seems webform is the only way to reach out to them. Also in other forums i have read people saying there is no fixed time for them to reply. Fingers crossed.... Any other way if anyone knows..TIA

Did your daughter complete landing formalities along with you? Getting a COPR does not make one a permanent resident. You must complete landing formalities. Did she do this along with you?

PR card application is a different application from your PR application. It is separate for each person. So link it to your MyCIC account, it will show you if the card has been issued, application pending, photos rejected etc.

Are you asking if she was a part of the original PR application ? Then YES. She was also a part of our application. We all ( wife, daughter, self) were all a part of the original application.

The application is generated by CBSA when they process your landing. Linking is just for your information, allowing you to track it online.
