After I got pre-arrival, my background check took few hours
I am a January applicant. Here is my timeline
- Application received January 22, 2019
- medical instructions on March 9, 2019
- correspondence on March 12, 2019
- Medical results have been received
- started processing your application on October 3, 2019
- correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 4, 2019
- Biometric request 25 October
- Biometric Done 4 November
No update after that. cic account shows

I have a question if you have a long travel history does it delay your case? Because my file didn’t transfer yet and people who applied after got file transfer. I’m april applicant

No. My travel history is quiet extensive and spread to almost every european country and my background check cleared in few hours.
Guess, it depends on your case officer
