Hello Seniors,

Please provide your assistance for the following 2 issues/concerns.

1. Use of Representative Form (IMM 5476 ) and Authority to release personal information to a designated individual (IMM 5475)

This may be a stupid question but i just want to confirm. We are not appointing a representative and the sponsor and the PA have given their respective individual emails and mailing addresses to receive notices from CIC.

Do we still need to fill the above mentioned forms?​

2. Update forms after the PA has already signed them

We have already typed all the forms and my wife (PA) has already couriered the singed forms to me. However, we just noticed that there are certain minor amendments which have to be made in the forms. The changes that need to be made are on the pages where the signatures are not required.
Can I still make the changes only on the specific pages and print them again or do I need to ask my wife to re-print the updated forms, sign them again and courier them to me?​

Hi.In response to post 11 I am about to send in application for my spouse and will include the application for the open work permit in the same envelope. Are you saying that the application for the open work permit will also act as an application to extend his stay/ temporary resident visa? Or is there yet another application that must be included for an extension of the temporary resident visa?

We have the sponsor's application, the principal applicant's application and the open work permit application. I know if we are mailing in that we send all in one envelope but how do we send all online from one account? I keep reading that it is better to submit online but cannot find " the submit link"

There is no option to submit a sponsorship app online. It must be mailed, hence why the guide only provides mailing instructions.

Yes, the OWP app maintains status, as long as it and/or the PR app isn't returned.

I received email from IRCC with subject "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada: Information about Fxxxxxxxxx Correspondence Id: 1-xxxxxxxxxxx" would this be AOR ?

How did you link the application and to what? The above email I received mentions my UCI number and not my of my spouse.
