No. It's not possible for them as they have to keep asking CRA for the updates.

Hi:
My sponsorship application (for my mother in law) is stuck In Process since October 21. I believe they send inquiry to Provincial authority (Ontario) to confirm whether myself or my parents who I sponsored in 2012 received any social assistance or not.

I am wondering if anyone in the forum is similar situation where they have already sponsored and while the sponsorship agreement is still in effect now they are applying for either their MIL or Parents. Just trying to understand how long this will take to get response from Province (Ontario).

I already supplied tax return copies and also gave permissions to look into CRA directly for my tax data.

Any insight will be appreciated.

Hello,
I am new to this forum, just one question.

I received a message in ECAS regarding correspondence but never received one MyCIC or email. SO i called CIC and agent told me that the request is for borth certificate to prove relationship. She told me she cant send me a copy of the letter again and I have to open a ticket regarding techical difficulty to get it and IT department will send it.

I dont know how long will it take, but I am wondering if you can copy the instruction of letter, i would really appreciate. Please remove your personal information and share it. It will also help to verify the email address to send information.

I had the same problem and I submitted the requested document via webform and they sent it to concerned department in weeks time. I didn't even bother to ask for that original letter. And the concerned officer got my additional documents within 7 business days and my sponsorship file got approved after another 20days.

On ecas, it is showing ‘decision made’ from 31st Oct for PA but mycic still showing ‘action required’ that was corresponding to request to submit PCC and travel form that I already submitted on Oct 15. Is it normal?

It happened to me. My file get IN PROCESS on Sept 19 and I got DM on Oct 31st. Last year I sponsored my parents and they landed this year.
This year I sponsored my in PIL. Initially I also get the same feeling that my file got stuck.
