Hi tobi please how long does cic give for u to land in Canada? Like when everything is done what’s the time frame they give for you to enter the country within that time frame? Thanks

The visa will be valid till one year from when medicals was done. If med was done - for example - in February, 2019 and application was approved in November, the visa will be valid till February 2020 after which you cant use the visa again. This is what I know from experience.

Hi, don't don't ever think of coming down for that interview, if you can't spend more than six 6 months here, l mean in Africa. I'm in the same shit and still waiting for my visa, although l passed everything, i.e the PPR. Lost my job, lost my apartment and my credit cards are messed up and my car loan too.
On my interview VO told me l shouldn't have come but could have fought and request for my file to be transferred to USA. Do come, l repeat it is going to take you more than 6 months to get your visa

It’s within 37-47k depends where you do it. Ikeja is about 10k difference

congratulations ,i am new to this forum i assume that you are very familiar with cic activities.
i am currently in the usa ,my application was transferred to cpc Mississauga on September 27 do you have an idea if a decision will be made on my file at mississauga office or it would further be transferred to accra Ghana?

If you are Nigerian, they will probably still transfer it to Accra for final decision. It will be partly processed in Mississauga , it will be transferred after your medicals .

I believe they are rounding up issuing final decisions for applicants that did their medicals in August. I believe they are using the date medicals was received and passed as a yardstick for the final decision and not date application was initially received hence reason why some March applicants have already received ppr and some February applicant still waiting .
Of course each case is different and some will take longer than others based on complexity.

I have completed my biometric and medicals before my application was transferred to mississauga from Sydney.
