I heard it could take 4 to 6 weeks to get some communication... the background check takes the longest in this whole process...

Hi I just want to ask after paying the BIOMETRIC did they send instructions on what to do. In my case they requested biometric last Oct. 15 and we haven't received any instructions yet but they acknowledge our payment. As of now we are waiting for the instructions. Or we can go to the biometric office to do it. Thank you

The biometrics instruction letter that we got indicates that the letter is proof that we paid the fee. So while it's good that IRCC acknowledged payment, until you get the specific instructions letter it's best to hold off on it. You also need to make an appointment in most places.

How do you guys know that your application has been moved to VO? It says on GCkey? I've received Medical and biometric requests and it says decision maid on ECAS, but I have no idea about moving to VO

You will get an email saying it’s been moved to a visa office.
