I was trying to link my application in my CIC account. However, there are no Sponsorship related items in the choices for the "category". Could anyone who have successfully linked help please? Note: I had just created a new CIC account. Thanks in advance.

@robertp, Please update line 176, DM for PA updated in ecas today.
Thanks @ankz001 , @fjle, @nomadic who predicted yesterday that a ghost update to myCIC will result in a DM for PA !

@snganu First of all Many Congratulations for getting DM for PA. Indeed doubled your celebration for Diwali.

I am curious to know what is this “ghost update” you guys are talking about. Could u plz explain what happened in your myCIC account before u got Decision Made for PA.

A ghost up date is when you log into your 'My CIC' account and it tells you that your application has been updated but nothing appears to have changed.
It often means that's the CO has been working on your application and and an update is imminent.

Thanks @rinkupatel.dmj . As @fjle mentioned a ghost update is when you see the status in my CIC as "application profile updated" but truly no change to any other section. I had this update in myCIC on 25th, and next day ecas changed to "DM"

User @skFSW in eCas SA side Decesion Made on Oct 28. On PA side they added another line that they have sent letter on Oct 27.

Also please correct I got Biometric on Oct 27. Letter also dated Oct 27th.

It seems they are working on Sunday.

My father did biometric in US on 25th October, mycic still says ur action required and old biometric date is showing against his records.mother did on 15th from PK and results showing for her on MYCIC.

Should i wait for few days and then contact local visa office where my parents application is right now for update?

My biometric submission date will expire on 6th nov, so i am worried, not sure what to do.

I remember i read many people had this issue doing biometric in US and not getting any update in MYCIC, but what happened in their cases did cic got biometric in their cases and didnt update MYcic?

my bad, I checked the ECAS system, they only ask for IME for now,
I think the SA letter is only a general statement. they will ask for the documents required through the ECAS system right?
