Hi, my EOR just came today 13 of October,
My previous results was LRWS- 8/7/6/6.5
Remarking was done for writing and speaking.
My exam date was 31st of August, CBT-IDP results came on the 3rd of September, then on the 4th of Sept I applied for EOR. It’s been 39 days of waiting. Haven’t received any text, email or mails, just the test center called and told me that my TRF is ready for pick up. I actually not expecting for it to change, since I heard that for those who haven’t received any email telling that there is a rise of score then most probably, I assumed my score will remain the same.. I kept on checking ieltsessential til the time that I cannot view my scores anymore, well same thing, scores from there are the same with my pre remarking scores. I went to the office and picked up my new TRF. By the way I repeated IELTS academic thrice.
my writing remained unchanged which is totally fine with me, coz I need speaking atleast 7 and a total band score of 6.5 for the country that I am aiming to go to..while my speaking subtest increased to 0.5 band. Now I am totally done with IELTS. Prayers for everyone to achieve their desired band scores.
I have been improving it for two years.
I had learned structures, task achievement, use of simple compound complex interrogative, examples, use of different punctuations;()!? , lexical and other other things that are clearly stated in band descriptors.
They had given 7 to me twice and that too only when listening was at 7.5
Hello. Below are my IELTS attempts. Only focusing on my writing got me a 7 finally but at the cost of my LRS. Has anyone faced such an issue? Should I go for a remark, cause I don't feel I fared any different in my latest attempt as compared to earlier one's. Already registered for my 6th attempt, IDP this time.
BC Paper- lrws 9/7.5/6.5/7

I have taken IELTS twice from BC. Both of them were PBT. These are my scores:
1st attempt: LRWS 9 9 6.5 8 overall 8
EOR: Score unchanged (Although I was very confident about my writing test)
2nd attempt: LRWS 9 9 6.5 7.5 overall 8 (I am not that sure about writing test tbh)
Now should I go for EOR again or take a retest? This time I am planning to take CBT from IDP. Do you think changing the test format will help me in any way? Please share some writing suggestions with me. Its gonna be my 3rd time now and I am already fed up.
