Hi,

I sent out my application on May 2nd, and I got my AOR on July 12th. I had got the medical exam request on Aug 14th. The only thing I can see on my online application statues is that "your medical results has been received". How can I check my background check has been started or not? Is the background check step for everyone?

My background check has been updated today to "We are processing your background check". I have done the medical test a few days ago but it has not been updated to received or approved yet. I guess the timeline is a bit different for everyone.

I got a medical request today. So it turns out they did not credit the medical exam I did on September 2018. I enclosed it with my app thinking it was still valid because it did not reach the 1 year expiry yet. Oh well.

Can you tell me what numbers you pressed when you called cic? Was it 1-1-1-2?

I honestly don’t remember. You have to wait and listen until the end of the automated msgs. They will give you an option to speak to an agent

Any idea how many days it will take to get OWP approval after linking?
