for a quick update, i got MR on 25th sept. It gets uploaded on ecas as ‘medicals received’ after 3 days. I’m in my 20th months.

A friend of mine did medicals in February and got DM today , 20 months total , we applied with 1 month difference.

Best of luck and patience and keep checking ecas and GC key for updates ( unless you applied through agency, then query with them).

your non accompanying might need to go through medicals and background check too hence the delay. However, rest assured that all will be completed within 3 months before or after your expected completion time.

It’s ok mine was “application received” for 13months and still ongoing processing as at today. You will get Roprf request soon or pay it upfront if you can, that is what might have triggered my processing.

so, which means, my case will not on progressing, if it doesn't show "progressing"?
I've already paid prf upfront, maybe need 6 more month to wait.thank you anyway.

"in progress"is much better than "application received", u know, u got news anyway, which means they are working on ur file.

Its still the average processing time, some can bet their PPRs earlier. It all depends on the profile!

Am aint sure about it, however I have been checking up some posts on this forum and the majority have got the so called golden mail when they reached out their 22M. I do hope am wrong thu. My application was received in Feb 2019 followed by the AOR in April and I was expecting the process to be much faster or something, as my agent was saying its about 15-17 months to get the PR.

Hi

it means they have started processing your application. Which involves Verifying your forms, documents, morality certificates etc. When they are done or while doing it, you will be sent requests to pay ROPRF, do medicals, additional docs and biometrics etc. Background checks will start too.

when done, you will have to wait for the “in process” to change to “decision made” to get PPR

Did they ask you for any additional docs or you might miss out anything during the process?

they asked me my and my spouse CV . 8 august they received .
